FOREST youth training course

 

 

 

 

YMDRAB hosted an International youth training course on nature protection and sustainable use of forest resources. The event took place in Etropole from 6th to 8th of December 2019 bringing together 50 young people from Bulgaria and Serbia (25 youngsters from each country). They were trained by 6 forest scientists (3 Bulgarians and 3 Serbs).

Call for participants in eco-training

YMDRAB is looking for 25 young people (13-18 years old) from municipality of Botevgrad interested to participate in International youth training course on nature protection and sustainable use of forest resources. The training will take place from 6th to 8th December 2019 in Etropole.

Afforestation campaign

 

 

 

 

International youth afforestation campaign was implemented within project “For everyone saved a tree (FOREST)”. The activity took place from 8th to 10th of November in the vicinity of Sokobanja, Serbia. During the campaign a mixed group of Bulgarian and Serbian youngsters, assisted by professional foresters from both countries, planted tree saplings on forest and urban areas.

Call for participants in Afforestation campaign

Dear Friends,

We are looking for 25 brave young people for participation in an Afforestation campaign in Serbia. Participants should be 13-18 years old, living in Botevgrad municipality. The Afforestation campaign will take place from 8th to 10th of November 2019 in Sokobanja, Serbia, under project “For everyone saved a tree (FOREST)”.

Seminar “Awareness raising and willingness for cooperation of young people for forest preservation”

 

 

 

 

Our project “For everyone saved a tree (FOREST)” started with International opening seminar in Nis on 04.10.2019. Host organization was our Serbian project partner NIIT Society Innovation Center. The purpose of the event was to introduce young people from the target municipalities Nis and Botevgrad with the current problems of the forests in the cross-border region and to motivate them to take an active part in their protection and sustainable use.
