From 12th to 21st of July, 2013 35 youth workers and experts from Eastern Europe gathered together in the beautiful “sea capital” of Bulgaria. They improved their knowledge and skills to work in behalf of young people with speech and language disorders. The training "Let me be One of You!" was organized by YMDRAB in partnership with another 5 organisations from different European countries. The participants were youth advisers, project managers, logopeds and volunteers who work with youngsters with communication problems in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Romania, Poland, Bulgaria and Austria. The training was conducted by an international trainers team.

During these 9 exiting days on the Black Sea coast, the participants learnt about the essence and applicability of the latest methods for work with young people with communication disorders. This knowledge will be used to encourage the active youth involvement in the social processes and in the labor market at local level. The participants developed their cooperation for innovation and best practices in working with young people with communication problems. They exchanged ideas and experiences and acquired practical skills to overcome the low self-esteem and the social isolation of the youth caused by speech and language disorders. They visited some Centers for youth with language disorders and worked with them. The participants learnt about opportunities offered by "Youth in Action" Programme and “Erasmus+”.

Despite their hard work the participants found some time for cleaning the beach of Varna. Also they organized various thematic evenings full of intercultural exchange and lots of unforgetable funs.
