LINKS - Logopedists Interact for New Knowledge and Skills

YMDRAB in partnership with the Romanian, Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian associations of logopedists implement a project called „LINKS - Logopedists Interact for New Knowledge and Skills“. The project will provide quality training to those working with children and young people with communication problems in order to increase their professional capacity and to improve the quality of the services they provide.
The main project activity will be an international training course. It will be held in the period 23.08-01.09.2019 in Kranevo, Bulgaria. The training will bring together 42 speech and language therapists from Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

The training will be conducted by an international team of experts. The activities will be entirely based on methods of non-formal education, including: presentations, mixed working groups, workshops, group discussions, field visits and others. During the course the participants will learn about the latest methods and systems for work with young people with various communication impairments - stuttering, articulation and phonological impairments, sensory disintegration, methods of prevention and early intervention, acoustic analysis of speech recordings and others. The participants will exchange ideas, experiences and good practices and will develop new professional contacts. An important part of the training will be presenting the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme to youth workers and organisations which work with youngsters with fewer opportunities and planning of ideas for further interaction and cooperation at different levels. In addition to that, a variety of activities for intercultural exchange between the participants will take place during the course.

If you are interested to take part in this international training course, do not hesitate to contact us or the partner organisation from your country.

We are waiting for you!
