Dear Friends,

As we have already mentioned, during our project “The Voice of Youth – The Voice of Change!” 27 rural young people worked together with representatives of local authority and National and International youth NGOs on creation of a common vision for sustainable development of rural youth community. As a main outcome of their collaborative work a common Position Paper was created by all the participants. This document addresses the main challenges of rural youngsters, the demands they have from politicians and authorities as well as the potential role of young people and youth organisations in fulfilling these demands. The Position Paper presents the opinion of the participants in three main fields, namely:

1/ Democracy and Youth Participation

2/ Social Inclusion of young people

3/ Youth in diverse societies

In fact this document was created taking into account the youth realities in municipality of Botevgrad, Bulgaria, but we think that the challenges and needs which the rural youngsters face are very similar across the Europe. So we strongly recommend you to read attentively the following documents:

Enjoy the reading!
